The programme participants in Spain are given Spanish courses in their home countries before their arrival to familiarise themselves with the language.
While internships at Bergé y Compañía are in English, Bergé y Compañía considers it important that these students have a basic knowledge of the language to be able to communicate with all their colleagues in the offices.
The courses are taught two afternoons per week for an hour and a half.
Some of them continue with Spanish studies once they return to their home countries. In fact, some students who have participated in the programme have decided to work in Spanish speaking countries.
