The connection between the world of Japanese and Spanish universities has been strengthened in recent weeks with new initiatives arising from Spanish institutions. The University of Salamanca signed a collaboration agreement with the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in the area of mobility. This agreement will facilitate collaboration between both institutions through researcher and student exchanges, as well as cooperation on research and the distribution of results obtained.
Furthermore, with support from the Japanese Embassy, the University of Huelva held their first Spanish and Japanese Culture and Education Symposium to encourage research on Japan and cultural exchanges with East Asian countries.
