Organising such an important event for Korea has not been an easy task. It has required the combined efforts of an entire nation, ready to transform it into a successful event for everyone to enjoy, while at the same time opening up new horizons for Korea.
The PyeongChang Winter Games will be the most important Games to date, with more than 100 gold medals in play for the first time. PyeongChang 2018 will also be the stage for the greatest number of female and mixed events in the history of the Winter Olympic Games.
